Culinary skills run in Kate’s family and since young she has always been an avid baker. Professionally, Kate used to run the research & development arm of Foodgnostic Singapore which supplies cakes and pastries to a multinational chain of coffeehouses like Starbucks. She loves travelling to Japan to learn their culinary and culture. For the past decade before covid struck, Kate used to travel to Japan twice a year, to live and breathe Japan. Kate has previously taught in a Japanese Baking School. She looks forward to meeting her students in class to unwind, destress and have fun through therapeutic baking and crafting desserts!
